Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyTVCalendar (the "Service"), operated by LeftHandLabs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MyTVCalendar is a personal TV guide that lets you track TV shows, view episode air dates on a calendar, mark episodes as watched, and optionally connect third-party media servers (such as Plex or Jellyfin) to automatically record your watch history. Show, episode, and artwork data is sourced from third-party providers (currently TMDB and TVDB); we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including via excessive automated requests;
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive content via feedback, show requests, or any other input fields;
• Use the Service to harass, impersonate, or infringe the rights of others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as feedback, show requests, or ratings). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content as necessary to operate the Service. Public profile information (such as your username and watch statistics) is visible to others unless you mark your profile as private in Settings.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including TMDB, TVDB, Plex, and Jellyfin. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by LeftHandLabs Ltd. Show artwork and metadata belong to their respective rights holders and are used under the terms of the providers from which they are sourced. This license does not grant you any rights to reproduce or redistribute that content outside the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including show air dates or watch history) will always be accurate or available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeftHandLabs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your account data. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
