Synopsis
Lou saves Richard’s life, but he immediately and cleverly uses the opportunity to manipulate Julius further: his last thought was only for him. Julius is touched but cautiously keeps his distance from Richard. Then Richard goes all in and unexpectedly proposes to Julius. Jess dances away her writer’s block and euphorically writes all night on her novel. Daniel enviously admires her energy and realizes: only he himself can pull himself out of his professional slump. Gisela learns of her impending windfall and wants to fulfill Julius and Franka’s dreams. But they both refuse: she should treat herself. Gisela ponders this and finds her dream: her own pub. Toni and Ellie pretend to Jonas that they’ve fallen in love with each other in order to kick him out of their shared apartment. When Jonas sees through their plan and packs his bags, hurt, the two feel guilty and persuade him to stay after all. Was that clever?
