Synopsis
Victoria wants to continue a family tradition with Bella for her 18th birthday: Shortly after midnight, the eldest daughter will be presented with a medallion. But Bella already has plans - she’s celebrating her birthday with Elyas. Victoria tries to prevent that. Svenja and Arthur are worried that Victoria’s planned birthday ceremony will put too much pressure on Bella. They’re also planning something for Bella themselves. But Bella doesn’t want to see Arthur on her birthday. While Valerie and Simon fill out the application for paternity acknowledgment, it becomes clear how much Simon will be able to influence Olivia’s life, and thus Valerie’s life, in the future. Valerie hesitates to submit the application. When Gisela finds out, Valerie implores her mother to keep the secret. Ben learns by chance that Franka has been in Japan for weeks - without having told him. It becomes painfully clear to both of them that a long-distance relationship doesn’t work. Franka and Ben break up.
