From the urban rhythms of Bernstein's West Side Story and On the Town to Gershwin's jazz-infused Rhapsody in Blue and the wide-open landscapes of Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Moross’s The Big Country, Marin Alsop conducts this barnstorming celebration of music from her homeland.
